Update On City-Wide Power Interruption

PUC would like to update customers on its restoration efforts. At approximately 7:00 PM, crews restored electricity to the last remaining circuit that had lost power. At this time, service has been restored to 2,500 of the approximate 3,145 customers without power.

Crews are working to clear downed trees from power lines and restore electricity to the remaining customers as soon as possible. PUC would like to remind customers that if they see a fallen tree on or near power lines to please call PUC (705-759-6555) and report it immediately.
