PUC Services, along with community partners the Canadian Red Cross, Algoma Public Health, the City of Sault Ste. Marie, Sault Fire Services and Vulnerable Persons Registry (VPR) invites you to attend a free open house on emergency preparedness, February 18th from 5:30-7:30 PM at the North Branch Library.
Community members are invited to attend the open house to learn more about what it takes to be prepared for the first 72 hours without power. Partners will have information booths set up to provide PUC customers an opportunity to ask questions about emergency preparedness and see how each partner responds to the needs of our community. All community members are welcome to take this opportunity to ask questions about services in an informal, educational setting.
“The safety of our customers is a top priority for PUC”, stated Rob Brewer, President & CEO of PUC Services, Inc. “Due to the recent storm that occurred over the holidays, we believe now is an important time to bring the community together to learn more about how to prepare yourselves and your family in the event of an extended power outage.”
Those who attend will be eligible to enter draws to win emergency preparedness giveaways and 72 Hour Emergency Preparedness Kits provided by Sault Fire Services. Join us on February 18th and speak to the right personnel about how to be prepared for an emergency power outage.
