PUC Services Inc. operates multiple utilities within and around the City of Sault Ste. Marie, including the supply and delivery of electricity and drinking water, and energy services and the treatment of water and wastewater.
As an Office Assistant – Operational Support, your duties will include:
- Provide office support to divisional departments in a confidential and safe manner.
- Conduct all communications in a tactful and courteous communication with both internal and external customers.
- Maintain corporate software systems such as the work management system, asset management System, and training software.
- Complie and organized reports.
- Maintain documents such as standard operating procedures, corporate manuals, and other corporate health and safety documents.
- Prepare agendas and document minutes for departmental and Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings.
- Arrange and schedule meetings, appointments, and departmental staff training.
Qualifications:
- At minimum, completion of a post-secondary diploma in Office Administration, or experience that is equivalent to the educational requirements.
- Minimum of two years of office administration experience.
- Proficient in Work Management Systems and Microsoft Applications, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal skill, administrative and analytical skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgement regarding confidential matters.
- Strong organizational skills that will result in the timely and accurate completion of assignments.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
