As the Office Assistant – Water Operations, your duties will include:

  • Provide office support services to the Water Operations Departments as well as interact with other departments and external agencies in a confidential and safe manner.
  • Maintain corporate software systems such as the Work Management System, Asset Management System, and other training software.
  • Assists with the administration of various processes, standards, spreadsheets, databases, regulations and reports.
  • Create work orders and recurring work orders for staff to complete and close out.
  • Receives, distributes and files reports, invoices and maintains database for record keeping.

Qualifications:

  • At minimum, completion of a college diploma in Office Administration or related field.
  • Minium of one to two years of office administration experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, administrative, analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Work Management Systems and Microsoft Applications, specifically Microsoft Excel (intermediate level).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written) that will result in the timely and accurate maintenance of records and completion of assignments.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement regarding confidential matters.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
