Temporary Customer Experience Clerk (Up to 9 Month Contract)

PUC Services Inc. operates multiple utilities within and around the City of Sault Ste. Marie,
including the supply and delivery of electricity and drinking water, and energy services and the
treatment of water and wastewater.
As a Customer Experience Clerk, your duties will include:
• Respond to all customer inquiries within customer experience timelines and service quality
guidelines.
• Ensure appropriate customer information is collected to assist in maintaining customer
records.
• Interact with the Customer Experience team as well as other departments to produce accurate and
timely responses to inquiries and service requests.
• Liaise with internal staff and external contacts as required (ie. field staff, lawyers,
contractors, government agencies, etc.).
• Provide a high level of service to our customers and deal effectively with people in a
professional manner.
Qualifications:
• At a minimum, a Grade 12 education, preference will be given to those candidates who possess a
two-year college diploma in Office Administration or a business-related field.
• Intermediate computer skills and a strong understanding of Microsoft Office
applications.
• Experience in Customer Information Systems and Billing Software is an asset.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to show initiative and multi-task in a service oriented, fast paced
environment.
• Strong organization and time management skills to serve customers in an accurate and timely
manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fully vaccinated (2-doses) against COVID-19.
