Summer Student Employment

PUC Services Inc. offers several opportunities for students to gain valuable work experience and skills.

Who is Eligible?

Students who have been in full-time attendance (September to April) at a University or College, and who will be returning to full time studies in the fall. Students must also possess and maintain a valid Class “G” driver’s license.

Returning Summer Students

Students who are eligible for re-hire (students who worked for PUC Services Inc. the previous summer and are returning to full time studies in the fall), are also required to submit a resume prior to the deadline.  

Work tasks

PUC Services Inc. has various workplace sites.  These include the Main Office and Service Centre, the Water Treatment Plant, as well as maintaining facilities at the East and West Environmental Centres.  The work is mainly outdoors and may be physically demanding.  Students should possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.

Deadline

The deadline for accepting summer student resumes is TBD. More information to come.
