PUC routinely includes information inserts with monthly billing statements advising our customers of what is happening within our utility and the electricity and water sectors. As a community oriented company, we may on occasion include inserts from charitable organizations within Sault Ste. Marie.

BILL INSERTS
New Electricity Pricing For Time-Of-Use Customers - June 1, 2020
(Effective June 1, 2020, the price for electricity used at all hours of the day is set
at 12.8 cents/kWh. This applies to utilities and unit sub-meter providers for
customers on time-of-use pricing. The Ontario government announced that
this pricing will be in effect from June 1 to October 31, 2020.)

Emergency Time-of-Use Electricity Rates
(The Government of Ontario is providing temporary 45-day emergency relief to support Ontarians impacted by the global COVID-19 outbreak. As of Tuesday, March 24, 2020, households, farms and small businesses who pay time-of-use electricity rates will be charged off-peak rates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. PUC appreciates the responsiveness of the government to work with LDCs to help our customers during this time.)
